With Deus Ex: Human Revolution the boss battles were outsourced, which meant that while the rest of the game put a big emphasis on the stealth of the player, the boss fights required more force and brutality. If this was not how a player had been playing the game up to that moment, it may throw them off and ultimately result in defeat. This minor yet significant problem is set to be rectified with the new add-on, Missing Link.

The game developers Eidos Montreal plan to design the boss fights themselves, thus making sure that they are in keeping with the tone of the rest of the game. This will be good news for fans, who will no doubt be waiting with baited breath for the new release, perhaps spending their time playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution, or surfing the internet and checking out theĀ PartyPoker site. When it comes out in October, there is set to be a lot of hype and many fans will be planning to purchase the new add-on

This new expansion will carry on the idea from the rest of the game that players do not have to kill. They will have the option to defeat the boss in a take-down that is not lethal. It will also be possible to kill him, but from afar and even without him actually seeing the player.

Missing Link will feature a five-hour story that sees Adam Jenson on a freighter. He will have no weapons or augmentations and will be at the mercy of Belltower. Consequently, Adam will have to move through the ship in order to reclaim his upgrades. He will have to deal with many enemies including bosses, and will also have to discover why he is there.
